If you’re trying to use LightBurn with your fiber laser and encounter connection issues, don’t worry. Many beginners experience this, and it’s usually a driver issue rather than a hardware problem.
Why LightBurn Won’t Find Your Laser
“I’m trying LightBurn, but when I click find my laser it won’t find the laser. Am I doing something wrong?”
LightBurn requires a different driver than EZCad uses. The installation process is fully outlined in the official documentation, including instructions on how to swap back to the EZCad driver if you need to run EZCad again.
