February 3, 2026Fiber Laser Storage in Cold Temperatures – Spec Summary
Looking to purchase my first fiber laser and have a question about cold temperature storage: our shop sees winter lows as low as -30°F (≈-34.4°C). The laser will not be operated at this temperature – cold exposure is only for storage, as I don’t keep the shop heated 24/7.

Key Note
All listed storage temp specs do not cover -30°F (-34.4°C) – the coldest rated storage temp is JPT’s -10°C (14°F), which is far warmer than the shop’s winter lows.
